Senior Safety

Seniors are an important part of our community and knowing what to do or when to help is key in supporting our senior population. Seniors can be targets for crime such as fraud or theft.  Federal law enforcement agencies report that victimization of the elderly is the cornerstone of illegal telemarketing, and the AARP found that 56 percent of the names on a telemarketers list were 50 or older.
